BJP MLA will bring up two old serious cases against IAS Tukaram Mundhe again in the winter session, proposing a special attention notice for his suspension. Khopde has claimed that while he was the commissioner of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, he took charge of the Smart City project in an unauthorized manner and, despite not being formally appointed as CEO by the government, he took control of the Smart City without authority.

Additionally, a complaint was made regarding intimidation and behavior towards female officers, and the BJP has alleged that no action was taken because the Maha Vikas Aghadi government was in power at the time.

Against this backdrop, it is now reported that BJP MLA Krishna Khopde has received threatening calls with abuse. On the very first day of the session, he received threatening calls, prompting him to file a complaint with the Chief Minister, the Speaker of the Assembly, and the Sitabardi Police Station. Khopde stated that two people called and threatened him, questioning why he was demanding the suspension of Tukaram Munde.
