This cabinet meeting was also important from the perspective of the Water Resources Department. Approval has been granted to take a long-term loan of 15,000 crore rupees to complete 40 pending projects and 100 canals in the state. All these projects are to be completed in the next one to two years, which will help increase the availability of water for agriculture.

In this meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also confirmed three important demands previously presented. The cabinet has approved the construction of a grand sports complex worth 75 crore rupees in Baramati. Additionally, a decision has been made to make 1,000 acres of land available for the Walchandnagar–Ratnapur MIDC. Along with this, approval has been given for the appointment of 11 additional district collectors in the state, which will accelerate administrative work.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis responded positively to this demand, and it was announced that Ajitdada's portrait will be placed in the legislature premises before the upcoming budget session.
