Pune: Group of 15–20 Youths Vandalize Vehicles

An incident of vehicle vandalism has occurred once again in Pune. The series of vehicle vandalism does not seem to be stopping. This incident of vehicle vandalism took place in the Khorad Vasti area of Hingne on Sinhagad Road. A group of 15 to 20 youths attempted to spread terror by vandalizing vehicles in the area.

Around quarter past eight to half past eight in the evening, young men coming from the area of the Mhasoba temple were carrying sickles and rods (iron bars). They started breaking the vehicles in the upper area. Along with this, they threatened the residents of the area. It is reported that 8 to 10 two-wheelers and rickshaws were damaged.

Previously, such incidents of vandalism had occurred in this area. In the meantime, the sickle gang had tried to create terror. Residents of the area have demanded concrete action from the police to permanently curb such incidents.
