During the press conference, Chhava Organization activists protested by throwing cards, demanding the resignation of Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate.
In protest against the assault on Vijaykumar Ghadge, the regional president of the Chhava organization's farmer front, by NCP workers, a call for a shutdown in Latur city has been made today. It is reported that this shutdown has been called to demand action against the assailants and the immediate resignation of the state's Agriculture Minister Kokate.
