Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Accident: Two Killed After Being Hit by Speeding Car
Two pedestrians died on the spot in a horrific accident on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-Khultabad road near Nandrabada village. The accident occurred around 8:30 AM on Saturday (August 3), and the deceased include Dnyaneshwar Radhakrishna Jadhav (age 34) and Ashok Yadav Ghusale (age 55, both residents of Nandrabada). According to the information received, Manojkumar Maruti Katkar was traveling with his wife by car from Khultabad to Verul. While walking, Dnyaneshwar Jadhav and Ashok Ghusale, returning from the fields, were hit hard by a speeding car. The impact was so severe that both died on the spot.
After the accident, the driver attempted to flee with the vehicle. However, the police apprehended the driver along with the car on Mhaismal Road. Subsequently, Inspector Dhananjay Farate from Khultabad Police Station, Beat Jamadar Sheikh Zakir, and Police Constable Siddharth Sadavarte rushed to the scene. They conducted a panchnama and moved the body to Khultabad Rural Hospital. At 11 AM, the medical officers completed the panchnama and handed over the body to the relatives.
A mountain of grief has fallen upon their family due to this incident. The entire village of Nandrabada is engulfed in mourning, and sorrow is being expressed in the area. The process of filing a case at Khultabad Police Station is underway. Further investigation is being conducted by the police.
