CIDCO: 10% reduction in CIDCO home prices, announcement by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in the Legislative Council

The rates that CIDCO had set for houses in various categories in Navi Mumbai have been directly reduced by 10 percent, as announced by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in a statement in the Legislative Council. As a result of this decision, these houses will now be available at cheaper rates than before, making the dream of owning a house in the Navi Mumbai area more accessible to the common people.
While making a statement in this regard, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said that CIDCO has constructed as many as 17,000 houses in the areas of Kharghar, Vashi, Kharkopar, Taloja, Ulwe, Kalamboli, Kamothe, and Panvel in Navi Mumbai. The lottery process for these houses will be completed in the next two months. Before that, he said, a decision has been made to reduce the prices of the houses to provide relief to the general public. The prices of houses in the EWS and LIG categories will be reduced by 10 percent.
While providing information in this regard, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde said that this decision has been made to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's concept of housing for all. This will make it possible for ordinary citizens to get affordable, authorized, and good quality houses.
