(Mahad Shivsena Vs NCP) During the Mahad Municipal Council elections, a clash broke out yesterday between Shivsena and NCP workers at the time of voting. A case has now been filed in connection with this clash.
Nationalist worker Sushant Jabre has lodged a complaint at Mahad Taluka Police Station stating that when he went to inspect the polling station, Shiv Sena workers vandalized vehicles, assaulted accompanying persons, snatched the bodyguard's revolver, and stole a gold chain and mobile phone.
The complaint also mentioned that five people accompanying Jabre sustained serious injuries in the assault. In this case, a crime has been registered against eight people, including Vikas Gogavale, son of Shiv Sena minister Bharat Gogavale.
Vikas Gogawale, Mahesh Gogawale, Vijay Malusare, Prashant Shelar, Dhananjay Malusare, Vaibhav Malusare, Suraj Malusare, Siddhesh Sheth and eight to ten other unidentified persons have been charged in this case. Late at night, the case was registered at Mahad Taluka Police Station, and no one has been arrested in this matter so far.
