CM Devendra Fadnavis: Devendra Fadnavis's first reaction on suspicion in Ajit Pawar's accident
Nationalist Congress Party MLA Rohit Pawar has demanded an international agency investigation into Ajit Pawar's accident, to which Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has responded. “Let the investigation be completed, there is no reason to distrust the country's investigative agencies,” he clearly stated.
Fadnavis said that he has not fully listened to what exactly Rohit Pawar has stated. However, according to the information that has emerged from various media, he has raised some points and doubts. “Ajit Dada Pawar was a beloved and senior leader of Maharashtra. The demand for a thorough and transparent investigation into his accident is not wrong,” he said.
For this demand, we ourselves had written a letter to the central government, informed Fadnavis. A letter has also been sent stating that the Union Civil Aviation Minister has set up a special inquiry committee. Currently, investigations are underway by the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) and other related agencies. The black box has been found, and the aircraft's debris and necessary samples have been taken into custody. The digital records of the communication between the pilot and ATC are also available for investigation.
“DGCA is the highest investigative agency in the country. They have investigated all previous aircraft accidents. Indian experts are invited for investigations in many countries. Therefore, it is not appropriate to show distrust in our agencies,” Fadnavis firmly stated.
Noting that some statements may be made in an emotional environment, they stated that speculating before the investigation is complete creates confusion among people. If anyone has concrete issues or doubts, they should be officially sent to the DGCA.
“The unfortunate death of Ajit Dada should not be politicized. I am fully confident that the truth will definitely come out,” Fadnavis also clarified.
