Deadline Extended for 11th Admission Process

Due to heavy rainfall in many districts of the state, holidays have been declared for schools and colleges. Therefore, to avoid obstacles in the 11th admission process, the education department has extended the deadline for the special round. Now students can go to the college in person and take admission until August 22.

This year, the eleventh-grade admissions are completely online, with more than 21 lakh seats available in nearly 9,525 junior colleges across the state. A large number of students have already registered and secured admission.

In the special round "Open to All", students were given the facility to register and amend applications between August 15 and 17. The selection list for this round will be published on August 19. Initially, the admission period was set from August 19 to 20, but due to weather conditions, this deadline has been extended by two days to August 22. The education department has urged students, parents, and principals of junior colleges to take note of this decision.
