'We know how to enter a labyrinth and come out' - CM Fadnavis taunts opponents along with Mahayuti leaders

Maharashtra Politics: Against the backdrop of the Karad and Malkapur municipal elections, the political temperature has risen. While there are allegations of targeting BJP's Atul Bhosale, Fadnavis defended him in the meeting.

Against the backdrop of the Karad and Malkapur municipal elections, the political temperature has risen. BJP’s MLA from Karad South, Dr. Atul Bhosale, alleged that two ministers, former ministers, and a former chief minister from within the Mahayuti have come together and are trying to corner him. He firmly stated that even though they may have the keys to the treasury, its owner is still him, and with the support of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he will face everyone head-on.

On Sunday, November 30, at a campaign rally held in Karad, Fadnavis picked up on Bhosale’s statement. He said that both allies and opponents are trying to weave a complex trap around Atul Bhosale, but it takes years to get leadership like Atul’s. No matter who creates the trap, we will remove them like Abhimanyu, he quipped, taking a jab at the ministers from Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party, while backing Bhosale.

In this election, BJP has shown its dominance in Malkapur by electing 5 candidates unopposed, while Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party are contesting. In Karad too, there is a triangular contest, with the influence of leaders like former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. Although Fadnavis’s rally displayed unity within the Mahayuti, internal competition has flared up.
