DMER exams postponed due to heavy rain
New dates for the postponed exams will be announced soon
( DMER Exam ) The ongoing heavy rains in the state have also affected the educational sector. A decision has been made to temporarily postpone various recruitment and educational exams conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER). The administration has informed that this decision was made considering the safety of the students.
In the past few days, heavy rainfall in Marathwada, Vidarbha, Konkan, and Western Maharashtra has disrupted transportation. With roads closed in many areas, students faced difficulties reaching exam centers. Against this backdrop, the administration decided to postpone the scheduled exams.
The DMER statement mentioned that the new dates for the postponed exams will be announced soon. Candidates are also urged to regularly check the official website and notifications. The administration clarified that due to the rain, the safety of students is being given the highest priority.
Meanwhile, students from rural areas have demanded that the new schedule be announced as soon as possible. Although some have found relief in this decision, a large number of students are now waiting for the next dates.
