Panvel : 36 Crores Worth of Cocaine Seized, Nigerian Woman Arrested

After receiving confidential information about drug trafficking in Mangala Express, a major operation was carried out at Panvel railway station. Drugs worth 36 crores were seized from Panvel. A Nigerian woman was taken into custody during this operation. During the inspection, it was reported that 2 kilograms of cocaine were found in the woman's bag. This joint operation was conducted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Panvel, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Bengaluru, and Crime Intelligence Branch (CIB) Kurla, Mumbai.

As soon as the Mangala Express arrived at platform number 7 at Panvel station, the concerned team searched for the suspect woman. She identified herself as Etumudon Doris. Upon inspecting her bag, hidden narcotics were found. Officials have informed that the total market value of these narcotics is estimated to be around 36 crores. The woman has been taken into custody and further investigation has begun.
