Nagpur: Explosion at Solar Explosives Manufacturing Factory in Bajargaon, Nagpur

(Nagpur) An explosion has occurred at the Solar Explosives Factory in Bajargaon, Nagpur. Preliminary information indicates that more than 15 workers have been injured in this explosion, with one reported dead, and some workers are reported to be in the ICU.

The explosion occurred at midnight, and at that time, 30 to 40 employees working the night shift were working in various units. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Nagpur for treatment. Solar Explosives is a private sector company that manufactures explosives.

Earlier, on December 17, 2023, a severe explosion occurred at this location. Nine workers died in that incident.
