(Pandharpur Rain Update) The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall in many parts of Maharashtra. The state continues to experience cloudy weather, and a heavy rain warning has been issued for the next 2 days. The rain had taken a break for a few days.

The intensity of rain continues in the state, and the weather department has issued a warning of rain with thunderstorms in various districts. Meanwhile, the rain has started again, and for the sixth consecutive time, a flood-like situation has arisen in Pandharpur. It is observed that the temples in the Chandrabhaga desert have gone underwater.

Water is being released into the Bhima River from the Ujani Dam at a speed of 80,000 cusecs. Additionally, 15,000 cusecs of water is also coming into the Bhima River from the Veer Dam. A warning has been issued to the villages along the river, and all the temples, including the Bhakt Pundalik temple in the Chandrabhaga River, have gone underwater. Due to the heavy rainfall in Pune district, there has been a significant increase in the inflow of water into the Ujani Dam.
