Ghatkopar–Versova Metro Line to Get Two Additional Coaches

(Ghatkopar-Versova Metro) Information has been received that 2 more coaches will be added to the Ghatkopar-Versova Metro. Considering the increasing number of passengers, Metro 1 has made this decision. Mumbai Metro One, which operates the metro, is preparing to issue a tender for the purchase of 32 additional coaches.

Currently, 16 trains are running on the Metro 1 line. It is reported that an additional 32 coaches will be needed to make these trains six-coach trains. On the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro 1 line, trains with six coaches will soon be running instead of four.

Therefore, after the proposal for purchasing coaches is approved, additional coaches will be purchased immediately, and this process is expected to be completed in a few months.
