Instructions to make all government department websites available in Marathi
This decision will allow citizens to easily access information about government services in their mother tongue
(Government Websites) The state government has made an important decision to instruct all government departments to make their websites available in Marathi. Additionally, the user interface of all websites will be uniform. This will be part of the upcoming 150-day administrative reform initiative.
This decision will allow citizens to easily access information about government services in their mother tongue. Additionally, since all websites will have a uniform format, it will prevent cyber fraud by creating fake websites. Even if someone attempts to create a fake website, differences in font, name, or format will be immediately noticeable, as clarified by ministry officials.
According to the new guidelines, each website will have a uniform interface featuring the names of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and Governor. Additionally, important links such as citizen services, the RTI Act, and 'Aaple Sarkar' will also be provided. All websites will be officially available only on the domain.
This decision has been made based on the experience gained from the government's 100-day performance plan. Previously, it was difficult to compare as each department set independent targets. Now, objective evaluation will be conducted through the Indian Quality Council. The top 3 performing departments will be honored by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on October 2.
