High Court to Hear Dadar Kabutarkhana Case Today

After the Mumbai High Court ordered the closure of all Kabutarkhanas in Mumbai, action was taken by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Against this backdrop, the Jain community appears to have become quite aggressive.

Yesterday morning, a large number of Jain community protesters gathered at the Kabutarkhana in Dadar, Mumbai, and tore down the tarpaulin that had been placed there. They also threw the food brought for the pigeons into the Kabutarkhana. Against this backdrop, the dispute has now reached the High Court, and the first hearing is scheduled for today.

Due to the ban imposed by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation on feeding pigeons, they are dying. Therefore, do not prevent them from being fed, and allow them to be fed twice a day,' is the demand made by Pallavi Patil along with some bird lovers who have filed a petition in the High Court. Against this backdrop, the hearing is scheduled for today, and everyone is paying attention to it.
