(Maharashtra Weather Update) Heavy rain showers have been pouring in the state for the past few days. Flood situations have arisen in many villages, disrupting daily life and causing immense damage to farmers' crops. Amidst this, a heavy rain alert has been issued for two days in the state.
Heavy rain is expected in many areas over the next few days. In Marathwada, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in isolated places from October 7 to 11. In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Jalna districts, rain with thunderstorms may occur on October 7, and in Latur and Dharashiv districts on October 8 and 9. This has been reported.
The weather department has also reported that the maximum temperature in Marathwada will increase in the next four to five days. Rain is expected in many parts of the state in the next 48 hours. Heavy rain is likely in Thane, Palghar, the Konkan coast, and some districts of eastern Vidarbha.
