(Nanded Rain Update) The state continues to experience cloudy weather, and the rain had taken a break for a few days. The intensity of the rain remains in the state, and the meteorological department has issued a warning of rain with thunderstorms in various districts.
Meanwhile, it has started raining again and the rain has wreaked havoc in Nanded district. The Godavari River has approached the danger level, and the flood situation in Nanded district remains evident.
The bridge at Nav Ghat on the Godavari River has gone underwater, and water has entered the homes of many families in Panchvati Nagar, Vasrani area of Nanded city. Eight families in Panchvati Nagar have been rescued by the municipal fire brigade personnel.
Fourteen gates of the Vishnupuri Dam have been opened, and water is being discharged into the Godavari River at a speed of nearly one and a half lakh cusecs. As a result, a warning has been issued to the villages along the Godavari River and to the farmers.
