Heavy Rains Cause Flooding in Solapur’s Sina River; Highway Traffic Close

(Solapur Heavy Rain) For the past few days, heavy rain showers have been pouring along with cloudy weather in the state. There is heavy rain in Akkalkot, Barshi, and Mohol talukas of Solapur. A warning has been issued to the villages along the river.

A flood situation has arisen in many villages, disrupting daily life and causing immense damage to farmers' crops. A holiday has also been declared for schools in the rural areas of Solapur district.

Due to the continuous heavy rainfall in Solapur district, the Sina River has flooded, and the flow of water has increased, leading to the complete closure of traffic on the Solapur-Vijapur National Highway. Traffic on both sides of the bridge over the Sina River at Hattur in South Solapur taluka has been stopped. As a result, long queues of vehicles can be seen on the bridge.
