(Chandrapur Heavy Rain) For the past few days, heavy rain showers have been pouring in the state. Flood situations have arisen in many villages, disrupting daily life. Citizens in Marathwada and Vidarbha are troubled by heavy rainfall, cloudbursts, and floods.
Due to the heavy rainfall over the past few days, there is a visible picture of immense damage to farmers in many parts of the state. It has been raining in Chandrapur district for the past twenty-four hours. The continuous rain has increased the levels of rivers and streams, posing a significant threat to the agriculture along the riverbanks.
The continuous rain has increased the level of the dam. It is reported that three gates of the dam have been opened. There is a possibility of a flood situation arising in the district, and considering the likelihood of heavy rain, a holiday has been declared for all schools in the district today. Additionally, the District Collector has ordered that schools which started in the morning should release all students by 11 AM for safety reasons.
