Mumbai: Remove Slums After 2011; High Court Orders

(Mumbai) Orders have been issued by the High Court to remove slums after 2011. The bench of Justice Girish Kulkarni and Justice Advait Sethna made this suggestion. Do not allow the builder selected for one project to participate in other projects. This will prevent any builder from monopolizing the SRA scheme, the bench also stated.

Remove the slums after 2011 to create good parks and infrastructure. Slum dwellers need to have Aadhaar card, electricity bill, and several important documents for rehabilitation. However, it is reported that they are submitting fake documents.

File a case against slum dwellers providing fake documents and appoint builders through a lottery, as directed by the High Court.
