Pune Airport Bust: Passenger Caught with Hydroponic Weed Valued at 10.5 Crores
A person has been arrested at Pune Airport with hydroponic weed worth 10.5 crores. Air Pune Customs officials have carried out this major operation. A passenger arriving from Bangkok was detained with hydroponic weed worth 10.5 crores.
The passenger was detained due to suspicious activities. Approximately 10.47 kg of narcotics were seized from him. According to information provided by Air Pune Customs officials, the name of the arrested passenger is Abhinay Amarnath Yadav.
He arrived in Pune from Bangkok on July 24, 2025, via Indigo flight number 6E-1096. During the inspection, the hydroponic weed found with him is estimated to be worth approximately 10.5 crore rupees in the international market.
A case has been registered under the NDPS Act in this matter. When presented before the court, he was remanded to judicial custody. The Customs department is continuing the investigation into this case.
