(Private Bus Ticket) During festivals, many people travel to their hometowns or go on trips. However, it is observed that private bus operators significantly increase ticket prices during the festive season. Many find these ticket prices unaffordable.

It is reported that complaints about these increasing ticket prices are also being received by the RTO. Against this backdrop, the Regional Transport Department has warned that action will be taken against bus drivers if extra ticket prices are charged.

Therefore, it is now informed that complaints can be made if private bus drivers charge extra fares. Citizens can file a complaint on the number 8275330101 or via the email rto.12-mh@gov.in, and while filing a complaint, citizens should send their name, mobile number, and photos of the ticket, as stated by the RTO.
