21 IPS Officers Transferred Across the State

In a significant administrative move, the Maharashtra Home Department has initiated a large-scale transfer of IPS officers across the state. Over the past eight days, 49 IPS officers have been transferred, including 21 officers whose new appointments were announced yesterday.

The reshuffle includes postings to several key positions such as Superintendent of Police (SP), Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), and Commanders in the State Reserve Police Force. These changes span across Mumbai, Thane, and various other districts, with several officers being assigned to more prominent or strategic roles.

Notably, officers like Rajtilak Roshan, Rakesh Ola, and Sameer Sheikh have been entrusted with significant responsibilities in Mumbai and surrounding regions.
