Ladki Bahin Yojana: Big News! Only 'these' sisters have the opportunity to do eKYC, know the new rules
The Maharashtra government has once again started the eKYC correction process for the beneficiaries of the 'Chief Minister - My Dear Sister' scheme. This facility is available only for those women who have previously filled the application and selected incorrect options or have errors in the eKYC process, so new eKYC will not be possible.
The government has warned that women who have not completed eKYC by December 31, 2025, will not receive the next monthly benefit of 1500 rupees. Beneficiaries can visit the official portal of the scheme (ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in) to check their Aadhaar-linked bank account information and correct any errors.
The portal clearly states that this opportunity is only for those who have selected the wrong option, and if proper eKYC is not done, the application will remain pending and the amount of the delayed installments will not be credited. Completing the OTP process with Aadhaar authentication and the Aadhaar details of the husband or father is mandatory, which will ensure transparency and help the rightful beneficiaries.
There is a possibility of a lump sum distribution of six thousand rupees at once in the accounts of millions of beloved sisters in the state. Although the November installment was deposited in December, after verification, the four installments of December, January, February, and March may be received together in the new financial year. The government's previous assurance of depositing the installment on the 10th of every month is stuck in eKYC verification, and an appeal has been made to urgently rectify and complete the application.
