Ladki Bahin Yojana: Only a week left for e-KYC for Ladki Bahin Yojana; When will the November installment be received?
Scroll down to read the news in brief...
The grand alliance government started this scheme from July 2024, providing assistance of 1500 rupees per month to eligible women from families with an income of less than two and a half lakh. The Women and Child Development Department implemented the e-KYC process to verify beneficiaries. Initially, the deadline was given until November 18, but it was later extended to December 31. An opportunity for correction is also provided if there is an error in this process.
Although the October installment was distributed on November 3-4, the November installment has not yet been received. While installments from July 2024 to October 2025 have been received by eligible women, those who have not completed e-KYC may face difficulties in receiving further assistance. According to the information provided by Minister Aditi Tatkare in the assembly on December 10, 1 crore 74 lakh women have completed e-KYC, and this number is increasing.
There are also special provisions for single women. Women whose fathers or husbands have passed away or who are divorced should complete their e-KYC on the portal and submit death certificates or divorce documents to the Anganwadi workers. The department has appealed that if this process is not completed, there may be a delay in receiving the installment.
Meanwhile, in the last week of December, millions of beloved sisters are rushing for e-KYC. There is a demand for the department to conduct a comprehensive awareness campaign for the successful implementation of the scheme.
