Ladki Bahin Yojana: A big shock for dear sisters! 'These' women will not receive ₹4500
Among the women registered in the Maharashtra government's popular 'Ladki Behen' scheme, both excitement and concern have increased regarding the installment from November. Although installments up to October have been distributed, with only three days left for December to end, the money for November and December has not been received. This has raised many questions in the minds of millions of beneficiary women across the state, and there is suspicion whether the next month's installment will also be received together.
According to government officials, there was a discussion about giving the installments for November and December together, which would have given women around 4,500 rupees. However, now that this installment has been delayed, dissatisfaction is growing among the beneficiary women. At the same time, a strict decision has been made in the scheme, and women who have availed benefits beyond the criteria will be permanently excluded. Moreover, the KYC (Know Your Customer) process has been made mandatory for all beneficiary women, and the remaining deadline for this is only three days.
The benefits for women who have not completed KYC before the deadline will also be stopped, according to government sources. Nearly millions of women in the state are beneficiaries of this scheme, but millions of them have not yet completed KYC. The possibility of their benefits being stopped after the deadline has increased, and there is concern that a large number of women may be affected next month. This issue has become a topic of political discussion, especially since many women in rural areas and metropolitan areas depend on this scheme.
Women's organizations have demanded the government to immediately extend the deadline for installment distribution and KYC process. Meanwhile, beneficiary women are advised to rush to the nearest banks or e-Mitra centers for KYC with Aadhaar card, Jan Dhan account, and other necessary documents. Although this scheme is important for women's economic empowerment, the government machinery believes that overcoming such challenges will help in its effective implementation.
