Information has been received about the death of a leopard caught from Bhayandar area and released into natural habitat. The forest department has informed that the leopard died in the Nagla area of Yeoor forest range, and it was captured from the human settlement in Bhayandar on December 19, 2025.

So on December 25, it was released at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Information has been received that the leopard died from the satellite system installed around its neck. An autopsy has been conducted and the exact cause of the leopard's death will be clear after the report, it has been said.
