Investment of ₹42,000 Crore in Maharashtra; Over 25,000 Jobs to Be Created, 10 MoUs Signed in Presence of Chief Minister

In the ministry, in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, signatures were made on 10 MoUs and two strategic agreements during an important event. These agreements will lead to an investment of 42,892 crores in the state and the availability of more than 25,892 new job opportunities.

Fadnavis said that Maharashtra is emerging as the "Data Center Capital" and "Solar Energy Integration Capital." The strategic agreement with the UK has further increased the attraction for foreign investors, which is a symbol of trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also assured that the entire state government machinery will stand firmly with investors from start to finish.

These agreements include various sectors such as solar energy, data centers, steel industry, industrial equipment, and green energy. Jupiter International Ltd. has decided to invest a whopping 10,900 crores for solar panel manufacturing, which will create 8,308 jobs. Rochak Systems (2,508 crores), Rovison Tech Hub (2,564 crores), and Webmint Digital (4,846 crores) have made agreements for data center projects.

Additionally, thousands of jobs will be created by Wow Iron and Steel (4,300 crores), Atlas Copco (575 crores), LNK Green Energy (4,700 crores), and Prestige Estate Projects (12,500 crores). Moreover, a special agreement has been made for the Global India Business Corridor and UK-Europe investment, and an important step has been taken with TUTR Hyperloop Company to establish advanced transport projects at JNPT and Vadhavan Port. An innovative project like Hyperloop is expected to bring a radical change in the logistics and mobility sector, as expressed by Chief Minister Fadnavis.
