Ladki Bahin Yojana: Only 10 days left! January's installment is still not in the accounts of the beloved sisters, when will it be received?
There is currently unrest among the beneficiary women of the Maharashtra government's popular 'Chief Minister My Beloved Sister' scheme. The women are worried because the January installment of 1500 rupees has not been deposited by mid-February. Now the February installment is also delayed, raising the question of when the combined 3000 rupees for both installments will be credited to the account. No official announcement has been made by the government regarding this yet.
Beneficiary women of the scheme receive 1500 rupees directly in their bank accounts every month, which is important for household expenses, children's education, and health. Initially, there was talk of receiving the January installment at the beginning of February, but due to preparations for the district council elections, this installment was delayed. Although there is speculation that the installments for January and February might be given together, an official date has not been announced. According to some officials, this amount may be deposited by the end of the month or at the beginning of March.
It is said that some beneficiary women have had their installments delayed due to errors in the KYC process. Such women have been given a deadline until March 31 to correct the errors, after which a combined amount of 6000 rupees for the four installments of December, January, February, and March will be given. Only eligible women who have completed e-KYC will receive this benefit, as per the available information. It is also possible that the installment may be deposited before the Holi festival (March 2-3), providing financial support to women during the festive season.
Women's representative organizations and political parties have expressed dissatisfaction over this delayed distribution and have demanded that the money be deposited as soon as possible. It is expected that a clear announcement will be made by the government soon, so that justice is served without hindering the expectations of millions of beloved sisters.
