Maharashtra Rain Update: Orange Alert for Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar

The rain, which had taken a break for many days, has once again made its presence felt. Heavy rain is falling in many parts of the state. Due to heavy rain in many places, rivers and streams have flooded, disrupting daily life. The intensity of rain is expected to increase once again across the state, with increased intensity in Konkan coastal areas, Pune, Sangli, Satara, and Marathwada.

Favorable conditions for rain have developed in the state. It is predicted that the intensity of rain will remain in Mumbai and suburbs, Thane, and Palghar for the next five days. The intensity of rain is increasing in Maharashtra, and on July 24, there is a possibility of rain in most places in Konkan, Goa, and many places in central Maharashtra, and some places in Marathwada.

Good rain will fall in the state for two days. The weather department has expressed the possibility of very heavy rain in the Ghats region. A red alert has been issued today in Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts, as well as in central Maharashtra and western Maharashtra. An orange alert has been issued for the three districts of Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar.
