Weather Update: Heavy Rain Warning Issued for Vidarbha and Marathwada
The rain, which had taken a break in the state for a few days, is once again becoming active. Rain has started in East Vidarbha, Marathwada, and South Central Maharashtra. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for several districts in these regions for the next four days. It is predicted that the intensity of the rain will increase in the next two days.
A heavy rain warning has been issued for the districts of Nagpur, Wardha, Yavatmal, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli in Vidarbha. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for the districts of Nanded, Latur, Dharashiv, Hingoli, Parbhani in Marathwada, as well as Solapur and Sangli in South Maharashtra.
There is a possibility of heavy rain in most parts of Vidarbha over the next five days, with some districts likely to experience light to moderate showers. Additionally, cloudy weather is expected in some parts of the state, with a possibility of thunderstorms in certain areas.
