Maharashtra Weather Update: Heavy Rains and Gusty Winds Forecast Across the State

After a brief lull in the first week of June, heavy rains are expected to return to Maharashtra, accompanied by gusty winds. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert predicting intense rainfall activity in several parts of the state over the next two to three days.

Over the past few days, various regions have experienced sporadic showers, but the scorching heat has persisted in many areas due to inconsistent rainfall. However, with the latest weather developments, a change in conditions is expected.

The IMD stated that while pre-monsoon showers that began in May brought significant rainfall to some regions, the momentum had slowed by early June.
