( Gas Leak In Vasai ) A major accident has occurred in Vasai's Diwanman area due to a chlorine gas leak. A 100-kilogram capacity chlorine cylinder, kept on the water tank since the municipal council days, fell down during repair work.

Due to the breakage of the cylinder's outflow valve, chlorine gas started leaking. As soon as information about the incident was received, fire brigade officials promptly arrived at the scene. In this incident, one person died and reports indicate that 17 people were injured.

Treatment of the injured is ongoing in the hospital. Medical supervision of the injured continues, and it is reported that the municipal health department is closely monitoring the situation.
