(Western Railway) During the Western Railway block period, important engineering, signaling, and overhead equipment-related works are being carried out for the sixth line between Kandivali and Borivali stations.
A 30-day megablock has been implemented for these works. The megablock has been in place since December 21, causing inconvenience to people going to work in the morning. On the very first day of the week, about 100 locals were canceled, causing significant inconvenience to passengers.
The block will remain until January 18, 2026, and it is reported that the duration of this block may be extended. Help desks have been started at crowded stations like Borivali-Virar to avoid inconvenience to passengers.
