After the brutal murder of Mangesh Kalokhe, while there was tension in Khopoli, the police took major action. This murder was committed a few days after the municipal election results were announced. The incident has caused a stir in the area. In this case, the police have arrested 5 people.

Now, after the police custody of 12 accused ended, they were presented in the First Class Court at Khalapur on Friday, where the court remanded them to judicial custody, while 2 newly arrested accused were sentenced to police custody.
