Manoj Jarange Patil: "No elections if no help for farmers" - Jarange's warning to the government, will take a big step for farmers
29 districts in the state have been battered by heavy rain. The excessive rainfall has caused significant damage to the farmers. The government had announced that assistance would be provided to the farmers before Diwali. The government had announced a package of over 3,000 crores, but the aid has not yet reached the farmers. As a result, Maratha activist Manoj Jarange Patil has stepped in for the farmers.
Manoj Jarange has warned the government that a major farmers' protest will be organized soon after a meeting. On this occasion, Manoj Jarange Patil said, "On November 2, there will be a discussion with farmer leaders in Antarwali Sarati on the farmers' issue. A major protest needs to be organized to ensure justice for the farmers. Only farmer leaders should attend the meeting, and on November 2, those with knowledge of the farmers' issue and office bearers of farmer organizations should attend."
"All party officials should come to Antarwali Sarati on November 2. We are inviting everyone through a press conference. We will not back down until the complete loan waiver for farmers is achieved. We will fight honestly for the farmers and also win... There is no price for milk, no price for onions, no price for agricultural produce, we want to see how debt relief is not happening now. We want to see how a leader roams without waiving the debts of farmers in Maharashtra. Just protesting is not fun, we have to decide how to protest. We will fight honestly and win 100 percent."
