A large number of people gather late into the night for Chhath Puja in the Mumbai area, so special arrangements have been made for the convenience of the devotees.
There is also a demand to increase police security to prevent any untoward incidents during such times. Permission is required at some places to perform Chhath Puja, and it has been suggested to implement a single-window scheme for the next five years. Additionally, if some Chhath Puja committees need permission for new worship sites, it should be granted immediately, as per the instructions given.
