In a recent meeting of the MHADA authority, a proposal regarding the bonus was presented. After discussion, a unanimous approval was given for a bonus of 25,000 rupees. In 2024, employees were given a bonus of 23,000 rupees. This year, employee unions insisted on increasing the bonus. Some unions directly demanded 30,000 rupees. Finally, it has been approved to give a bonus of 25,000 rupees to MHADA employees.

Meanwhile, employees of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation are also likely to receive a Diwali bonus. Last year, municipal employees were given a bonus of 29,000 rupees. This year, it is expected to increase by 500 to 1,000 rupees. With the Diwali festival just a few days away, the bonus increase has created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and satisfaction among the MHADA employees.
