(Amit Thackeray) MNS leader Amit Thackeray has written a letter to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. In this letter, Amit Thackeray has stated, "What happened in Solapur a few days ago is still unbelievable for us. The cruel manner in which our colleague Balasaheb Sarvade was eliminated is still beyond belief. Politics can reach such a level, it can never be imagined. I went to Solapur and met Balasaheb's family. After seeing and hearing what I did there, I wanted to speak with you directly and urgently.

I tried to request a meeting with you, but due to your busy schedule, we couldn't meet, which is regrettable. After going to that house, hearing the cries of Balasaheb's two young daughters left me stunned. Those little ones don't even know yet that their father will never return. Just yesterday, those girls performed their father's 'immersion of ashes' with their own hands, and it's unbearable to even think about this event, their mother, and their wife... I couldn't think of what to say in front of them."

"Elections will keep happening, but should anyone's home be destroyed for power? What culture are we preserving? What kind of Maharashtra are we building? I don't want to do politics, but as a human being, I humbly request and insist that 1. Complete responsibility for the family: The government should take full responsibility for the future of Balasaheb's two daughters. This murder has taken away the support of a home, and it is your responsibility as the head of the state to restore that support. 2. The harshest punishment: Those who committed this cruel act should be punished so severely that no one will dare to do such a thing again. This should not just be a legal action, but it should be 'justice' for that family."

"Change in election rules: Lives lost under the guise of campaigning must now stop. Strict enforcement of rules in the election code of conduct should be implemented to prevent political disputes during election times from turning into such violent incidents, so that tomorrow no mother or wife will be left exposed. No one has the right to destroy someone's home to gain power. You are the Chief Minister of the state, also the Home Minister. This fight is not for power or politics, this fight is for 'justice'. No matter how low politics goes, we must not forget our culture. Elections will come and go; but the person who is gone will not return. I am sure you will take the time to visit this family and assure those little girls of justice." said Amit Thackeray.
