Mumbai Monorail Service Stuck Between Chembur and Bhakti Park
Heavy rain has been falling in Mumbai since morning. Water has entered many low-lying areas. With local services halted due to heavy rain, it is now observed that the monorail has stopped between Chembur and Bhakti Park.
A monorail between Chembur and Bhakti Park suddenly experienced a technical failure. After this, the train stopped and the AC in the compartments shut down. Since this monorail was completely halted, the ventilation inside stopped, causing confusion. Passengers immediately contacted the emergency number of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for assistance.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade rushed to the scene. Passengers were urged to stay away from emergency doors to begin rescue operations, and then the process of evacuating passengers began. Additionally, it is reported that a medical team from the municipal corporation has been dispatched to the scene.
