A megablock will be undertaken for maintenance and engineering works on the Central, Harbor, and Western railway routes in Mumbai on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Passengers should travel by checking the schedule.

Central Railway

There will be a megablock on the up and down fast tracks between Matunga and Mulund from 11:05 AM to 3:45 PM. During this period, local trains on the fast track will be diverted to the slow track, which may cause some locals to run up to 15 minutes late.

Harbour Line

There will be a megablock on the up-down track between Kurla and Vashi from 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM. During the block, local services between Kurla and Vashi stations will be suspended. Special local trains will be operated between CSMT to Kurla and Vashi to Panvel during this time. Passengers can travel on the Thane to Vashi-Nerul trans-harbour route from 10 AM to 6 PM as an alternative route.

Western Railway

A mega block will be taken on the fast track between Churchgate and Mumbai Central from 10.35 to 3.35. During this period, some local services on the fast track will be canceled, and some locals will run only up to Bandra or Dadar and will return from there. During the block, all fast local trains will be diverted to the slow track.

Passengers must check the updated schedule on the official railway website or app before traveling on Sunday to avoid inconvenience.
