News for Mumbai Metro-3 passengers
Now free Wi-Fi available at stations
(Mumbai Metro 3) Mumbai Metro 3 received a great response from Mumbaikars. It is reported that on the first day of the complete underground Metro 3 route, one and a half lakh passengers traveled. However, many problems were being faced by the passengers.
The final phase of Mumbai Metro Line 3 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, passengers were facing significant network issues at the 11 stations of this final phase. They were also encountering difficulties while purchasing tickets. However, the metro administration has made a new decision and has provided Wi-Fi facilities at the metro railway stations.
After the Mumbai Metro Line 3 route becomes fully operational, another important facility has been introduced for passengers on this route. The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation has made free Wi-Fi service available at all stations of Metro-3. Since Metro-3 is an entirely underground route, passengers were experiencing mobile network issues until now. This was particularly causing problems when issuing e-tickets. Against this backdrop, MMRCL has taken this step.
Passengers can now easily obtain an e-ticket by logging into the official mobile app 'Metro Connect 3' before entering the station. This will save ticket purchasing time and avoid technical difficulties faced by many. Approximately one and a half lakh passengers travel daily on the Metro-3 route. In such a situation, facilities like Wi-Fi will play a crucial role in making travel more convenient and modern. This decision taken by MMRC will prove to be extremely beneficial for the convenience of passengers, making metro travel not only fast but also technically equipped and hassle-free.
