Mumbai Rain Alert: Citizens Advised to Step Out Only If Necessary

After a few days of respite, heavy rain has started again in Mumbai. Heavy rain has been falling since morning in Mumbai, causing a rush for citizens going to work. The intensity of rain has increased in Mumbai and suburbs, with heavy rain starting in the western suburbs.

Currently, heavy rain is ongoing in the western suburbs of Andheri, Jogeshwari, Goregaon, Malad, Kandivali, Borivali, Vile Parle, Santacruz, and Bandra areas. If this heavy rain continues for the next few hours, there is a possibility of water accumulation in low-lying areas of the western suburbs. It has been observed that water has started accumulating in many low-lying areas.

Therefore, it has been advised to go outside only if necessary, and there is a forecast of heavy rain in the next 48 hours.
