Nashik : Massive fire breaks out at Jindal Company
A devastating fire that broke out at the Jindal Company premises along the Nashik-Mumbai Highway continues to rage for the fourth consecutive day. Despite persistent firefighting efforts, the blaze remains uncontrolled, with thick plumes of smoke engulfing the surrounding areas.
The fire, which reportedly originated from highly flammable raw materials, chemicals, and plastics stored within the facility, has spread rapidly, prompting the evacuation of four nearby villages as a precautionary measure. Authorities have cleared all residents within a one-kilometer radius of the company due to the escalating threat.
Firefighting teams have been working around the clock to douse the flames. However, the presence of combustible materials has complicated containment efforts, and the fire continues to spread.
Emergency response teams remain on high alert, and local authorities are coordinating with disaster management units to monitor the situation closely. Residents are urged to stay away from the affected area and adhere to safety instructions issued by officials.
