At Navi Mumbai International Airport, a combined passenger trial was conducted on Saturday and Sunday, that is, on the 29th and 30th of November. Navi Mumbai International Airport is progressing towards commencing operations soon. The purpose of this trial was to test the entire airport process and, based on the experience gained, ensure that flights start smoothly. Regular flights are set to begin by December 25, and the successful passenger trial is considered decisive.
During the mock drill, 1,600 people participated as passengers. They went through a mock drill of activities from passenger check-in, security checks, boarding, to baggage claim. All key processes at the airport were thoroughly examined, and any shortcomings were identified. This has placed great emphasis on the quality of service and safety standards here. This trial was extremely important for the airport’s efficiency. The successful completion of this trial marks a major milestone in Navi Mumbai’s development.
