(BMC Election) The Mumbai Municipal Corporation election is about to take place. The draft ward structure of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation has been published. 410 objections and suggestions have been filed on this ward structure in Mumbai.

The Mumbai Municipal Corporation has completed the work of ward formation and had invited objections and suggestions from Mumbaikars from August 22 to September 4 for finalizing this ward formation. Against this backdrop, it is reported that 410 objections and suggestions were filed with the Municipal Corporation on September 4.

It is anticipated that there may be further increases. Hearings on objections and suggestions will be held from September 5 to 12, and former Municipal Commissioner and IAS officer Iqbal Singh Chahal will conduct the hearings. It is said that the plan is to finalize the draft ward formation by October 6.
