Bhandara: People climbed on water tank in Bhandara; Issues pending for the past 40 years

(Bhandara) It is seen that the project affected have climbed on the water tank in Bhandara. 249 villages were acquired for the Gosikhurd national project. The issues of the project affected have been pending with the government for the past 40 years.

Repeated representations have been made, marches have been organized, various types of protests have been conducted, but only promises are given by the government, it is being alleged.

It is seen that project-affected individuals like Bhau Katore, Dilip Madame, and some others have directly climbed the 80-foot high water tank at Kawadshi Phata on the Nagpur-Bhandara National Highway. They have warned that they will not come down from the water tank until there is a direct discussion with the ministers, otherwise, they will jump from the high tank.
