With the Ganpati festival approaching, a ban will be imposed on the use of plastic flowers for Ganpati decorations. A letter with signatures of 105 legislators has been presented in the assembly. It is reported that the Chief Minister also agrees with this. Therefore, natural flowers will have to be used for decorations during this year's Ganpati festival.

During various festivals and celebrations, plastic flowers are often used. These flowers last longer and are cheaper compared to natural flowers. Additionally, they come in various colors and natural shades, making them popular for decoration. As a result, the demand for plastic flowers has increased significantly. However, this has led to major financial difficulties for natural flower-producing farmers.

The supply of natural flowers in the market has decreased. Due to the financial loss faced by farmers, there was a large demand to impose permanent restrictions on plastic flowers. In this regard, MLA Rohit Patil demanded that the Chief Minister hold an urgent meeting and make a decision. Farmers across the state united to demand a ban on plastic flowers. Additionally, all MLAs submitted a signed petition to the government. MLA Rohit Patil presented the petition with the support of 105 MLAs to the Chief Minister.
